BABOK™ Version 2 Available for Public Review

BABOK V2 DraftThe IIBA™ has posted a draft of version 2 of the BABOK™ for public review. From the IIBA blog:

This document represents a complete draft of version 2 of the knowledge areas contained in the Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge. This draft is being made available to the business analysis community to gather feedback on the content and quality of this material in order that the IIBATM may assess the current state of the draft and make decisions about which changes should be included in the final release of version 2.

    The BABOK v2.0 has a much improved structure, it is more readable than v1.6, and contains more diagrams that really help with visual reference. The chapter layout appears to be more reflective of how the various phases really overlap. Kudo’s to the IIBA for their efforts…
