mark_65x65.gifThis episode hosts Mark Sarbiewski, Sr. Director from HP Software. (HP Software is one of the founders of the Requirements.net consortium.) Mark discusses how Quality Management is fundamentally different today than just a decade ago, and how requirements play a huge role in the modern IT landscape. Mark also talks about how HP’s new Requirements Management solution is built into HP Quality Center, and how it is integrated with functional and performance validation. We also discuss the need for Security practices in the SDLC and how HP’s recent acquisition of SPI Dynamics brings a total solution for quality, security, performance, and functional requirements management. Mark spends sometime looking at why traceability is so important in the world of delivering quality applications, and some of the decisions behind HP’s design choices in this new solution.

This episode also includes a summary of the Requirements.net executive event in Tyson’s Corner, Virginia, an overview of the new assets posted this week.
